I create new possibilities and connections: between people and that what inspires them, and connections between people. I do this by coaching, process facilitation, education and research.
After my studies of Arts and Sciences at Maastricht University I worked as a researcher at the department of Health, Ethics and Society at the Faculty of Health Sciences in Maastricht, from May 2006 until January 2010. From 2008 onwards I worked on my PhD research at Mosae Zorggroep in Maastricht, which I continued from the Department of Medical Humanities at the VU University Medical Centre. In 2012 I received my PhD degree, with the thesis ‘Participation & Partnership. Developing the influence of older people in residential care homes.‘
As of March 2015 I am working as an assistant professor Care Ethics at the University for Humanistic Studies.
I have followed the ICF-accredited training programme of Creative Consciousness International® and I am a certified Professional Consciousness Coach®. Through my coaching, I create space for people in which they discover new possibilities and take these into committed action. A huge breakthrough is involved in this process: from fear (tension, resistance) towards love (space, trust)!
